Cellcomb acquires Fatex

Cellcomb has, with our strong sustainable focus, had a good growth in recent years. Now we are taking the next step by further strengthening our international position through the acquisition of the Finnish company Fatex.

Together, the companies will offer a broader range of innovative, fibre based products designed to replace similar items made from fossil-based materials. This strengthens the joint mission to drive the transition to more sustainable solutions in both the food industry and healthcare.

The group will have an annual turnover of approximately 30 MEUR and employ about 90 people in Säffle (Sweden) and Kronoby, (Finland).
